Out of all the books I have read by Baby Professor, this one is my least favorite. Even though they are outdated Species accounts are what really make this book. The information is presented effectively using vignettes of cases, clear illustrations and diagrams (which is very useful if you are a visual learner), and excellent visual organization of the info. It covers fading, Rayleigh, Rician, GSM, AMPS etc. I really like the author's writing style, it's like a mix of an intimate, bare all conversation and a work of literary fiction (even though it's true) given the rich, detailed descriptions. No college student I know is that formal. The facts are great but some of the pictures are not the best. Ill be keeping an eye out for more.. Great book and if you are a lover of dogs you will enjoy reading about the quips from Vinnie!. It has a charming, settling effect on the reader, opening the eyes, heart, and mind to the pleasures a natural landscape has available to those willing to surren
