Editorial : About the Author LARRY SAMOVAR, Emeritus Professor at San Diego State University, received his Ph.D. from Purdue University, where he taught for five years. He was also an invited scholar at Nihon University in Japan. As an early pioneer in the field of intercultural communication, he has been a guest speaker at many universities in the United States. In addition, Dr. Samovar has worked as a communication consultant in both the private and public sectors. He has written and/or edited 14 textbooks--totaling 45 editions. Many of his publications have been translated into foreign languages and are used in 11 countries. So much for using this series across the instruments so you can't use this book series for family jams and sing-alongs as advertised.. I'd start working my way through a book, then stop and put it off for awhile, then start again. Rarest of all, there are no evil or malevolent characters. Since I am documenting procedures for our ISO certification, I wish I could have one for my own reference but the price is too high. With everything happening Matthew thought he was going crazy like his uncle Clarence. But all he did was state the obvious, without not even one example in the entire book of a letter, marketing piece, conversation with a customer, how he built his business.
