Found this book when I was trying to search for a Halloween themed book for my 3 year old sister. Well, cold-calling is pretty much dead. Just didn't interest me. If you've ordered one, you will know what I mean.. The authors spent eight years traveling the state searching out and capturing these flowers on film. This can be confusing because parts of the wings normally hidden are exposed when the collected specimen is mounted. As a resident of the Four Corners for more than 10 years, I found that this book really nails some of our well known AND little known trail gems. I don't think any sentence was more than 10 words long. Must read if you don’t want your kids eating candy for days after Halloween.
