A friend told me about this book - what a pleasant surprise! I was very impressed with the selection of recipes; they all look so good! And I love that I (who does not bake) can even make desserts! The book very useful. The book moves on into activities that require groups to work together to achieve a particular goal. Ill be keeping an eye out for more.. Do not recommend!!. I had purchased this for a gift for someone else but didn't feel it was nice enough to give them so ended up buying another calendar for them. Although she is quite young, she did understand the illustrations and in the years ahead, she will understand the text!

I recommend it for all children (and their parents) who travel.. None of this shines through in this volume because Jewish humor is not only haha type of humor, it is also deeply political and it is this political angle the author seems to be least aware of..
