I'm a military history buff, and I didn't find the men's biographies very helpful or insightful either on their own or to provide some context to what happened during the war. Although it is oriented toward machine scheduling, there is a lot of material that traditional real-time scheduling researchers and practitioners ought to become aware of if they want to move out of their historical niche. It works if you work it! AND YOU ARE WORTH IT!. This deserves 5 stars for authenticity -- but loses a star for being hard to follow.
